LogLogic Preps New Approach to Log Wrangling
Computers August 22nd, 2010Collecting and analyzing log files from thwart the network can be a real pain, especially considering the remote variety of sources and formats. That’s where LogLogic aims to approach in.
Version 5 of its eponymous offering is designed to co-operate with IT admins get better control of the log data being generated ~ means of systems, more so than LogLogic says can be handed by avail-level agreement (SLA), compliance, SIEM (security information and event management) and netting monitoring offerings.
In the process, LogLogic is pushing its own classification for collecting and analyzing all that data — the Universal Collection Framework — in hopes of UCF becoming a standard for understanding, aggregating and examining log file data from systems from head to foot the enterprise.
