TAIPEI: Toy-kin ICs are set to push up demand in the market with toy makers starting to build inventories for the year-end buying period of the year.

Players such as Alpha Microelectronics, Holtek Semiconductor, Elan Microelectronics, Sonix Technology and Sunplus Technology are amid the many who have kicked off building up inventory eyeing year-expiration sales.

Riding on increasing demand for voice ICs for toys, Alpha Microelectronics hopes to mail-carrier revenue  growth of over 70per cent sequentially in the second proper position.

At the same time, players of the likes of Holtek Semiconductor, Elan Microelectronics, Sonix Technology and Sunplus Technology, have also received a handful of orders for ICs to be used as being the production of educational toys and sensor and touch-controlled toys, before-mentioned a DigiTimes report.

Meanwhile, Elan feels that sales of consumer ICs and MCUs be inclined contribute more to its total revenues.
